Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Sugar & Creamer Set 235B

A sterling silver Georg Jensen cream jug and sugar basket, design #235B by Georg Jensen, introduced in 1917. A beautiful and elegant matching set, both pieces raised on delicate pedestal stems growing organically from stylized floral feet. The flowing handles terminate with suspended floral blossom buds, a hallmark of Georg Jensen’s early Art Nouveau craftsmanship. The cream jug mirrors the same sculptural design and features a graceful pouring spout. Design #235B is the larger version of the model, compared to the more commonly seen standard size #235A.
