Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Sugar & Creamer Set 235B

A sterling silver cream jug & sugar bowl, design #235b by Georg Jensen from 1917. The basket is raised by delicate stem growing from the stylistic floral pedestal growing from the foot. A series of two floral buds hang where each handle end. The creamer is the exact same design with a spout for pouring. Both pieces with matching #235 B hallmarks and were purchased new at Georg Jensen in the 1960’s. Both show little signs of use and the hand hammering has been retained.

• The sugar bowl measures 3 1/2″ in height to the top of the handle x 5″ wide x 3 7/8″ deep” (8,8cm, 12,2cm x 9,8cm).
• The cream jug measures 3 1/2″ in height to the top of the handle x 5 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ (9cm, 14cm x 7cm).
• Hallmarks: Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977 #235B sterling Denmark
• Weight: Combined weight 381 grams (13,43 oz).
