Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Snipe Bonbonniere 1338

A modern sterling silver Georg Jensen bonbonniere, design #1338 by Allan Scharff from 1980. Called “Snipe”, this is from a period where Scharff was inspired by birds.
Dimensions: Measures 3 3/4″ in height and 6″ x 4″ (9.5cm, 15cm x 10cm). Weighs 9.8oz (278g).
Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmark and date code S10 for 1992 and marked with the number “2”. This piece was originally designed for an exhibition at Design Museum Denmark in 1980, it was put into production at Georg Jensen in 1992 and this is presumably the second example made by them.
