a substantial antique 830 sterling silver early Georg Jensen Asparagus tong in the Rope/Perle pattern.  This sizable and weighty tong exhibits superb hand hammering, evident in its broad base, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship. The handle features a turned design, thick and wide, adorned with a meticulously hand-chased rope motif. The base of the tong is wide and hand-forged, combining elegance with practicality.
