Georg Jensen Sterling Silver & Porcelain Box 4002

An early Georg Jensen keepsake box featuring a substantial sterling silver lid paired with its original porcelain base. Designed in the Art Deco style, this piece is model #4002 by Harald Nielsen. The heavy, rectangular lid showcases a prominent central silver sphere flanked by opposing swan-like silver columns, and is bordered by a stepped inner rectangular frame. The underside includes an applied frame to secure it neatly in place.

The base is crafted from Bing & Grøndahl Danish porcelain and retains its original stunning teal-blue glaze, free of chips or damage.
