Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Ornate Grape Bowl 468A

A large early Georg Jensen sterling silver ornate grape bowl, design #468A by Gundorph Albertus from 1926. The bowl serves as a weighty centerpiece, elegantly poised on three delicate, leaf-shaped supports adorned with floral motifs. Each of these floral supports is embellished with a duo of dangling grape clusters, accompanied by a solitary flower. Silver beads are skillfully interspersed between the floral embellishments.

The bowl boasts a deep basin with an outwardly turned rim, showcasing the masterful artistry of silversmithing. Its circular base exhibits a stepped design, and the hammered finish is readily apparent, exemplifying a meticulous attention to detail. This piece exudes a subtle yet captivating charm, suitable for gracing your table as a centerpiece or as a decorative work of art.

  • Dimensions: The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and stands at a height of 8 1/4 inches (22.5cm x 21cm).
