Georg Jensen Sterling Silver “Louvre” Bowl 19A

A sterling silver Georg Jensen bowl, design #19A by Georg Jensen from 1912. A round stepped footed with floral arms holding the hand hammered bowl. This design was purchased in 1914 by the Louvre museum in Paris for their permanent collection and is commonly referred to as the Louvre bowl. Several sizes were later produced, this was the original size.

  • Dimensions: Measures 6 3/4″ in height and 7 7/8″ in diameter (17cm, 20cm).

  • Weight:  787 grams (27.76oz.)
