Georg Jensen Sterling Silver “Louvre” Bowl 19A

The iconic sterling silver bowl by Georg Jensen, known as design #19A and created by Georg Jensen in 1912, features a round stepped foot adorned with floral columns that gracefully support the hand-hammered bowl. This design gained prominence when it was acquired by the Louvre Museum in Paris for its permanent collection in 1914, earning the moniker “the Louvre bowl.” Subsequently, various sizes were produced, with this being the original size.
