Georg Jensen sterling silver tureen with ebony handles, design #547C by Harald Nielsen from 1928. A round bowl with two large ebony Art Deco style handles, a Pyramid style lid with stylistic floral finial. A transitional design period from Art Nouveau to Art Deco.

Dimensions: Measures 11 1/2″ (28.65 cm) across the handles and 5″ (12.5cm) in height. Weight: 33.3oz (945g).

Hallmarks: Very early hallmarks for this design from 1933-1944 Georg Jensen hallmarks, “547C HN Sterling Denmark”.
