Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Lidded Tureen 525

A sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco tureen, design #525 by Harald Nielsen from 1928. A round bowl with two large Art Deco style handles, a stepped lid with a large stylistic floral finial. The bowl and lid both both with hand-hammered surface.

Dimensions: Measures 11 3/4″ across the handles and 6 1/8″ in height (27.1cm, 15.5cm). Weight: 26.1oz (740g).

Hallmarks: Marked with early Georg Jensen hallmarks for this design, hallmarks used between 1933-1944.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
