Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Koppel Bonbonniere 1121

A vintage Mid-Century sterling silver bonbonniere designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen in 1963. This exquisite two-piece organic form bonbon resembles the shape of an oyster or clam, inspired by Koppel’s surroundings at his home in Taarbek, Denmark, overlooking the Baltic Sea. A rare early piece of art, it serves both as a decorative item and a functional candy holder.

The bonbonniere is oval-shaped with a rounded form, open on opposing sides designed with lip-like openings for easy access.
