Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Grapes Tray 296

A sought after Georg Jensen sterling silver Grapes tray, design #296 by Georg Jensen circa 1919. A Circular raised edge tray with two handles, each having a pair of grape motifs attached. This tray was designed to hold the #296 design goblets or can act as a drinks tray.

Dimensions: Measures 13 1/8″ (33cm) including the handles, diameter without the handles 10 3/4″ (27.5cm). Weight: 50oz (735g).

Hallmarks: A 1930s embossed Georg Jensen hallmark, “Sterling Denmark 296”.
