Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Grapes Centerpiece Bowl 296A

An exquisite Danish sterling silver Grape oval jardinière centerpiece bowl, design #296A by Georg Jensen in 1919. The large oval bowl, skillfully hand-hammered, rests on an oval base adorned with intricately sculpted vines and clusters of grapes. Adding to its charm are four hinged grape rings resembling wreaths, which serve as convenient handles when lifting the bowl. This iconic creation by Jensen is a testament to meticulous attention to detail, as it takes months of painstaking silversmithing to create this masterpiece.  This piece is positioned at the rear of the group image.
