Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Grape Candlesticks 263A

A pair of vintage Georg Jensen Grape candlesticks, design #263A by Georg Jensen from 1930. This vintage pair boasts exquisite craftsmanship, evident in the intricate hand chasing technique employed, as opposed to casting. The stem, adorned with a series of silver beads near the base, is intricately hand chased with a vine-like motif and oxidized for added depth. Notably, each of the five grape clusters is meticulously fabricated bead by bead, a departure from modern production methods where entire clusters are typically casted. These clusters are delicately attached to the stem with a vine, culminating in an elegant sconce. The sconce itself features a beveled drip catcher designed to prevent any wax drips.
