Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Goblet 532C by Harald Nielsen

A large sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco goblet, design #532C by Harald Nielsen from 1928. Simple and elegant Art Deco design from the designer of the Pyramid silverware pattern. There are several sizes of goblet made in this design, this is the larger size.  A round base transitioning into a gracefully curved center stem, supported by silver beads and two accentuating silver rings. The large, hand-hammered cup is minimalist in decoration, allowing the texture of the hammer marks to shine as a defining feature of the design.
