Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Coffee Service and Tray 547
A refined Georg Jensen sterling silver Art Deco coffee service, design no. 547 by Harald Nielsen in 1938. This elegant set comes directly from a private estate and has seen only minimal use, remaining in exceptional, near pristine condition.
The coffee pot features a classic bean shaped form with a short, organic spout. Its ebony handle is gracefully attached, reflecting a clean and minimalist Art Deco aesthetic. The removable lid is domed and finished with a single spherical finial. The set includes a matching sugar bowl and creamer.
The tray, design no. 223A, was acquired at the same time and complements the set beautifully. All pieces date from the prewar period 1933 to 1944 and were originally purchased from the Georg Jensen shop in Copenhagen. A rare and cohesive set, offered at a very attractive price, well below what comparable examples would cost today, especially as these designs are no longer in production.
