Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Champagne/Dessert Coupes 532D

A sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco champagne/dessert cup/goblet, design #532E by Harald Nielsen from 1928. Simple and elegant Art Deco design from the designer of the Pyramid silverware pattern.  A round base transitioning into a gracefully curved six branch center stem, supported by silver beads and two accentuating silver rings. The hand-hammered cup is minimalist in decoration, allowing the texture of the hammer marks to shine as a defining feature of the design.
