Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Candlesticks 119

A pair of Early Georg Jensen sterling silver candlesticks, design #119 by Georg Jensen from 1917. The intricate hand chasing on these candelabra is exceptional, which makes them rarer and less frequently seen on the open market. The round, slightly hand-hammered foot features Nordic-inspired oxidized etchings. Each column is adorned with the same hand-chased linear etchings. The sconces are embellished with hand-chased shell and oceanic motifs, reflecting Denmark’s maritime heritage and rich sea life. The double-rimmed top, with additional etchings, securely holds a candle in place. This design is considered rare.
