Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Box 39

A sterling silver Georg Jensen keepsake box, design #39 by Georg Jensen from 1915. A hand hammered rectangular hinged box with beaded edge and floral hand chased pattern in the center of the box. There was a great deal of time used to create this piece and only a season silversmith would create such an item. This box is ideal for use as a jewelry box on your nightstand.

Dimensions:

• Measures: 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ and 1 3/4″ in height (13.5cm x 10 cm x 4.5cm).
• Weight: 330 grams (11,64oz.)
• Hallmarks: early period hallmarks from 1915-1919 along with Swedish import marks. 

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
