Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Bowl 171

A sterling silver bowl or Tazza crafted by Georg Jensen in 1914, designed by Johan Rohde (1865-1935), featuring the intricate design number 3171. The bowl boasts a round hand-hammered flared shape, elegantly supported by a series of floral columns adorned with scroll and berry work. At the heart of these columns lies a large grape-like motif, likely paying homage to Georg Jensen’s own design legacy. The base is characterized by a circular tiered foot, and the piece serves both as a decorative work of art and a practical vessel suitable for holding fruit, floral arrangements, or snacks.
