Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Bonbonniere 72

An antique important Georg Jensen 830 silver oval bonbonniere #72, designed by Georg Jensen 1915. One of the first to be made in this design, this example is extremely heavy. A hand hammered oval bonbonniere with four ball feet. The sides, lid and feet with a great deal of hand chasing. The lid with a floral handle sits on a base of leaves and and berries. Considering the age of this piece the condition is superb, and still shows signs of hand hammering.
