A new and unused Georg Jensen sterling silver tea strainer base or waste bowl, design #2AB, item #3529375, designed by Georg Jensen. Created to accompany the Blossom tea strainer, item #3084366, this piece is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship and organic detailing associated with the iconic Blossom pattern.

The hand hammered round bowl rests on a raised circular foot decorated with finely crafted Blossom details, giving the piece the sculptural quality characteristic of Georg Jensen’s early designs. Designed to hold the tea strainer after use and catch any remaining drops of tea, it can also be used independently as a small serving or decorative bowl.

This piece is in new, unused condition.
