Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Blossom Tea Strainer 84

A rare early Georg Jensen sterling silver tea strainer and base with an ivory handle, design no. 84 by Georg Jensen, dating from 1915. The tea strainer features a thick, hand-carved ivory handle adorned with large blossom-form buds, leading to a round, bowl-shaped strainer with hand-cut openings for filtering tea. The original matching base includes the iconic blossom motif and frog-like feet supporting a deep, tiered round bowl. Both pieces bear matching 1933–1944 hallmarks, confirming they were purchased together during that period.
