An early Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Blossom Tea & Coffee Service with Ivory Handles and Tray (Design No. 2, 1905). This refined Georg Jensen Blossom tea and coffee service—crafted in sterling silver with ivory handles—features the iconic Design No. 2 from 1905, Jensen’s first hollowware creation. It is accompanied by a large oval hand-hammered tray with raised openwork handles, each adorned with a blossom bud and flowing stem details.
Tray No. 2F
- 22⅝″ (57.5 cm) L; 13¾″ (35 cm) W. A substantial piece with a simple, elegant form enhanced by sculptural elevated handles.
Teapot with Stand and Burner No. 2
- 8½″ (22 cm) H; 9″ (23 cm) W — 600 ml (20 oz). An elaborate kettle-and-warmer version, complete with original stand, burner, and teapot.
Coffee Pot No. 2D
- 9″ (23 cm) H; 9½″ (24 cm) W — 700 ml (24 oz). Echoes the teapot’s decorative lid and feet, with an oblong body that offers a graceful variation.
Creamer No. 2D
- 3″ (7.5 cm) H; 6¾″ (17 cm) W. The creamer features an elongated spout and three sculptural feet
Lidded Sugar Bowl No. 2D
- 5½″ (14 cm) H; 4″ (10 cm) W.the lidded sugar bowl has a tiered, rounded form harmonizing with the set.
