Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Bangle 254

A rare and vintage mid-century modern Georg Jensen bangle, design #254, crafted by Kim Naver circa 1970. This striking hollow, hand-crafted bangle features four rectangular disc-shaped carnelian stones in a clear reddish-brown color. The stones, positioned on four sides, are thought to symbolize the cardinal directions—north, south, east, and west. Inspired by early Viking jewelry, this design reinterprets ancient motifs with a modernist aesthetic. Its organic form, minimalism, and lack of embellishment make it a truly distinctive piece.

Dimensions:

  • Inside diameter: 2 3/8″ (6 cm), suitable for a medium-sized wrist.
  • Outside diameter (widest points): 3 1/2″ (8.7 cm).

Hallmarks: Georg Jensen, sterling silver #254.
Weight: 80 grams.
