Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Tray 159B in Original Box

A large very heavy sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Nouveau tray, design #159B by Georg Jensen from circa 1912, often referred to as the “Melon” design. An ornate bordered hammered tray with vine decorated handles. There is an enormous amount of hand chasing on this tray which took months to create.  The tray comes in an original fitted Georg Jensen mahogany box.

• Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmark and date code V10 for 1995.
