Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Toast Rack 510

An early Georg Jensen Art Deco sterling silver toast rack, designed by Oscar Gundlach Pedersen in 1927 (design #510), features an ovoid-shaped base with upturned sides transitioning into a circular design. It is adorned with five tentacle-like arms to hold toast, showcasing a sea-inspired motif blending animalistic and naturalistic elements. The base includes an elevated post to raise one end higher than the other, ensuring stability on flat surfaces.
