Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Ladle 13

An exceptional early extra large and very rare Georg Jensen Art Deco punch spoon / ladle, design #13 by Harald Nielsen. This striking hand crafted piece displays several design elements reminiscent of Nielsen’s celebrated Pyramid pattern, combining sculptural elegance with remarkable craftsmanship.

The long, gracefully curved handle is substantial in weight and beautifully hand made, featuring two large silver beads beneath the handle attached to elongated stems that continue seamlessly along the underside of the ladle and flow into the bowl of the piece. This sophisticated construction is both visually dramatic and technically demanding to execute. The large round bowl makes the piece ideal as a punch ladle or serving spoon, while the overall form reflects the refined Art Deco aesthetic for which Harald Nielsen became renowned.

Specifications:

  • Measurements: 12″ (30 cm) in length x 3 3/4″ (9,5 cm) across the bowl.
