Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Candlesticks 691B

A pair of exceptionally rare early Georg Jensen sterling silver Art Deco candlesticks, featuring design #691B by Harald Nielsen dating back to 1930. The base exhibits a distinctive 10-sided tall structure that cradles a series of stacked disc columns, with the central portion adorned with an intricate filigree Art Deco pattern. The large scone tapers elegantly and showcases Nielsen’s signature pyramid oxidized Art Deco design. Part of the #691 series, this specific set represents the second-largest size among the four available. Remarkably uncommon in this generous size, these candlesticks also boast period-correct 1930s hallmarks, making them a coveted collector’s item for enthusiasts of Jensen’s Art Deco creations.

Dimensions:

  • Measurements: Each candlestick stands at 4 1/4 inches in height, with a base diameter of 4½ inches (11cm, 11.5cm).
  • Hallmarks: Georg Jensen sterling silver #691B HN (Harald Nielsen) and import hallmarks to Sweden.
  • Weight: Combined weight totals 829 grams (29.24 oz.).
