Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Bowl #809B

A highly sought-after early Georg Jensen sterling silver bowl, design #809b by Arno Malinowski from 1937. Supported by a round foot, the bowl showcases a striking fish motif, complete with an open mouth, hand-chased eyes, and intricate filigree detailing for the tail and fins. The bowl is hand-forged, exhibiting a beautiful modern form. This piece captures a sense of playful charm while maintaining an elegant sensuality, a perfect example of Malinowski’s love for animalistic designs. Not only visually captivating, but it also demanded the highest level of craftsmanship, which is why only a few of these were ever produced. It’s a design we hold dear, and parting with it is truly difficult.
