Georg Jensen Pyramid Sterling Silver Pyramid Tray 600A

An early and rare Georg Jensen sterling silver oval Pyramid tray, design #600 by Harald Nielsen, introduced in 1930. Produced during the Art Deco period, this elegant handcrafted tray embodies the clean architectural lines and refined simplicity that define Danish Modern silver design. Early examples with pre-war hallmarks are seldom encountered and are highly sought after by collectors.

The tray features two opposing sculptural Pyramid-shaped handles, a distinctive element of Harald Nielsen’s celebrated Pyramid series. The #600 design numbers were created as hollowware companions to the iconic Pyramid flatware pattern, forming one of Georg Jensen’s most cohesive and sophisticated modern collections.

Its generous proportions make it ideal as a serving platter, large drinks tray, or for presenting a tea or coffee service. Equally impressive as a decorative centerpiece, it is a striking work of functional silver sculpture.
