Georg Jensen Pyramid Sterling Silver Ink Well 600

A rare sterling silver Georg Jensen Pyramid inkwell on stand, designed by Harald Nielsen in 1930. This exquisite Art Deco inkwell, design #600, features a striking pyramid-inspired form that perfectly reflects the bold geometric aesthetics of the period. The circular stand is fitted with opposing handles and supports a centered round inkwell with a hinged lid. The lid is finished with a sculptural Art Deco ball finial and surrounding loop handle for opening. Inside retains the removable ink holder insert.

An uncommon and highly collectible piece, this model is illustrated in Harald Nielsen’s early Georg Jensen catalogues and remains one of the most distinctive desk accessories produced by the silversmithy during the Art Deco era.
