Georg Jensen Pyramid Sterling Silver Egg Cup #585

An early sterling silver Georg Jensen egg cup with blue enamel lining in the Pyramid pattern, design #585 by Harald Nielsen dating back to1929. It consists of a round cup seamlessly attached to a cylindrical base with a center ring inspired by the Pyramid motif. This distinctive foot design was also applied to other Pyramid-themed creations, including cruet set #632, vase #676, and decanter #206. It is rare to find these with enamel lining.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 1 3/8″ (3.5 cm) in height x 1 3/4″ (4.5 cm) in diameter at its widest point.

  • Weight: 44 grams (1,55 oz).
  • Hallmarks: We have two of these one with 1933 to 1944 hallmarks, the other with 1925-1932 Georg Jensen hallmarks.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
