Georg Jensen Pyramid Sterling Silver Cruet Set No. 632
An early Georg Jensen sterling silver cruet set in the Art Deco Pyramid pattern, design No. 632 by Harald Nielsen, introduced in 1930. The set beautifully reflects the clean geometric lines and refined elegance of the Art Deco period, combined with the high craftsmanship for which Georg Jensen is known.
The round tray features two opposing handles decorated with stepped pyramid motifs, a defining element of the design. The salt and pepper shakers have a rounded form with stepped pyramid bases and screw-off caps in the base for easy filling.
The mustard pot is fitted with a hinged lid, a curved handle terminating in a circular disk detail, and a green enamel interior. The green enamel lining is particularly rare, as most examples of this design were produced with blue enamel.
