Georg Jensen Pyramid Silverware Service For Twelve
This is a sterling silverware service in the Pyramid pattern, design #15 by Harald Nielsen in 1926. The Pyramid pattern was designed in the wake of the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb by Howard Carter in 1922. The many wondrous finds in the untouched tomb set of a wave of Egyptomania. This set comprises 12 settings of 9 pieces plus many serving pieces.

- 12 x Dinner knives, long handle version 9″ (22.5cm)
- 12 x Dinner forks 7 1/8″ (18.1cm)
- 12 x Dessert spoons 6½” (16.5cm)
- 12 x Luncheon/Salad knives, long handle version 8 1/8″ (20.5cm)
- 12 x Luncheon/Salad forks 6 3/8″ (16.6cm)
- 12 x Cake forks 5½” (14cm)
- 12 x Small dessert spoons 5 5/8″ (14.7cm)
- 12 x Teaspoons 4 3/4″ (12cm).
All-silver serving pieces: 6 x Butter spreaders 5 11/16″ (14.5cm), large serving spoon 8 3/4″ (22.3cm), regular serving spoon 7 15/16″ (20.1cm), condiment spoon 5 3/8″ (13.6cm), roast meat serving fork 9 1/4″ (23.3cm), 2 x cold cuts forks 6 7/8″ (17.4cm), 2 x cocktail forks 5½” (14cm), Cake Server 9 1/8″ (23.2cm, large pastry server 7½” (19.1cm).
Serving pieces part silver/part stainless steel: Gravy ladle 7 5/8″ (19.5cm), serving spoon 7 3/8″ (18.7cm), cake knife 10 1/8″ (25.7cm), small pie server 6 1/8″ (15.6cm), fruit knife 6½” (16.2cm), cheese/bar knife 7 1/8″ (18cm) & bottle cap opener 4 5/16″ (11cm).
In total 131pcs, all in excellent condition.
