A sterling silver Georg Jensen butter knife, item 046 in the Parallel pattern, design #25 by Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen from 1931. The Parallel design has an exceptional dignity, the result of harmonious proportions combined with an apparent simple motif of parallel lines.
