Georg Jensen Iron, Silver & Gold Pendant

A vintage Georg Jensen iron pendant featuring applied sterling silver and an 18kt gold fish motif. Designed by Arno Malinowski around 1944, the piece showcases applied silver with a flora motif beneath a crescent moon, known as design #5003. Crafted during the scarcity of silver and gold in the post-war years due to Allied blockades, Georg Jensen innovatively minimized the use of precious metals while maintaining high standards of design and quality. The pendant includes its original chain with a sterling silver clasp, remarkably well-preserved for its age.

Dimensions: Pendant measures 1 1/2″ (3.7cm) x 1 1/4″ (2.9cm). The cord chain is 22″ (54cm) long.
