Georg Jensen Grapes Bottle Coaster 229

A sterling silver Georg Jensen “Grapes” bottle coaster with mahogany lining, design #229 by Georg Jensen from 1922. Decorated with an applied fruiting vine to the circular raised body with inset turned mahogany base. There is a great deal of  handcraftsmanship on the antique piece. The grapes are individually assembled verses being casted. The hand chasing is very pronounced as well as the original oxidation.
