Georg Jensen Extra-Large Sterling Silver “Queens” Bowl 250B

An early impressive large sterling silver Georg Jensen Centerpiece bowl, design #250B by Johan Rohde from 1917. This piece is the second largest in this design collection, with the largest often affectionately dubbed the “Kings Bowl.” In contrast, this splendid creation is affectionately known as the “Queens Bowl.”

This magnificent centerpiece features a hammered pedestal base, adorned with a delightful combination of floral and scrollwork. At its heart, you’ll find an oxidized floral centerpiece, all encircled by a hand-hammered, sizeable sculptural bowl. The result is nothing short of monumental and impressive.

Dimensions: This stunning centerpiece stands an impressive 13 inches in height and boasts a diameter of 14 1/4 inches (approximately 32cm by 36cm).

Hallmarks: Look for the early Georg Jensen hallmarks dating from 1925 to 1932.

Weight: A substantial 2768 grams (equivalent to 97.63 ounces).

*This is the second largest bowl in the second image, locate on the left.
