Georg Jensen Cypress Bouillon/Jam Spoon 053/163

Georg Jensen sterling silver bouillon/jam spoon, item 053/163 in the Cypress pattern, design #99 by Tias Eckhoff. In the Cypress pattern several of the pieces were dual functional, in this case this same spoon was both bouillon spoon 051 and jam spoon 163. Norwegian designer Tias Eckhoff’s Cypress was the winning design in a competition to design a flatware pattern for the 50th anniversary of the Georg Jensen Silversmithy in 1954.

Dimensions: Measures  5 3/4″ (14.5cm) in length.

Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmark, made in Denmark.
