Georg Jensen Continental Sterling Silverware Service For Twelve

an exquisite collection of vintage Danish silverware by Georg Jensen, in the Continental pattern. This particular set, known as design #4 by Georg Jensen, was introduced in 1906, only two years after he established his renowned silversmith workshop. The design is characterized by its minimalist aesthetic, showcasing a hand-hammered pattern with four elegant vertical lines.

This comprehensive set includes six place settings, each consisting of the following six pieces:

  • 12 Dinner Forks measuring 7 1/4″ (18.4cm) in length.
  • 12 Dinner Knives measuring 8 7/8″ (22.5cm) in length.
  • 12 Soup Spoons measuring 6 7/8″ (17.2cm) in length.
  • 12 Butter Spreaders measuring 6″ (15cm) in length.
  • 12 Large Teaspoons/Dessert Spoons measuring 5 7/8″ (14.8cm) in length.

60 pieces in total.

  • Weight including the stainless blades 3648 grams (128,67 oz.)
  • Hallmarks: All items bear the post-1944 Georg Jensen hallmarks, authenticating their origin in Denmark.
