Georg Jensen Continental Silverware Service For Twelve

A complete vintage sterling silverware service for 12 in the Continental pattern, pattern #4 by Georg Jensen in 1906. This pattern marks Georg Jensen’s inaugural venture into silverware design. Inspired by the early Danish wooden spoons utilized by Danish laborers for tending to their animals and crops, Jensen’s design pays homage to simplicity. The intent was to spotlight the artisanal expertise through the prominent display of each hand-hammered mark.

The set comprises:

  • 12 Dinner Forks: 7 1/4″ (18.4cm)

  • 12 Dinner Spoons: 7 3/4″ (19.8cm)
