A Mid-Century sterling silver Georg Jensen centerpiece, design #1053 by Henning Koppel from circa 1956.
Measures 24 3/8″ x 14 1/4″ and 3″ in height (63cm x 36.5cm, 7.5cm).
Georg Jensen hallmarks and date code L11 for 2009. Also marked “M. Birkefeldt”, this is from a brief period at Georg Jensen when the silversmith was permitted to mark his creation; Michael Birkefeldt is a third generation Georg Jensen silversmith.
