Georg Jensen Cactus Sterling Silver Tea Strainer on Stand 646A

A vintage early Georg Jensen sterling silver tea strainer on stand bowl in the Cactus pattern, design #646A by Gundorph Albertus from 1933. Both the strainer and the bowl have matching 1933-1944 hallmarks, making this a very early piece. The strainer features a meticulously crafted cut-out floral motif with a cactus-patterned handle and a notch that holds the strainer securely on the bowl. The bowl, handcrafted with a round shape, rests on three sets of two silver bead feet and showcases a hand-chased cactus motif, which was created during the original fabrication. A wonderful small piece of hollowware that will complement your cactus silver service.
