A vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver Blossom sauce boat with ivory handle together with its matching Blossom ladle, design #2A by Georg Jensen. This exceptional hand hammered sauce boat is one of the most sought after pieces from the iconic Blossom pattern and demonstrates the extraordinary craftsmanship of the early Georg Jensen workshops.

The oval formed sauce boat is raised on a round pedestal foot and features two opposing Blossom floral bulbs with elegant branch work flowing seamlessly into the body and handle mounts. The beautifully hand carved ivory handle remains in excellent original condition and complements the organic Art Nouveau design perfectly.

Accompanying the sauce boat is the rare matching Blossom ladle, design #84, produced in a special size specifically made to accompany this model sauce boat. Finding the original ladle together with the sauce boat is exceptionally uncommon.

A highly decorative and functional serving piece, completely hand crafted and remaining in superb vintage condition.
