Large Georg Jensen Art Deco Sterling Silver Candlesticks 604C
A pair of large Georg Jensen sterling silver Art Deco candlesticks, design #604A by Harald Nielsen, introduced in 1930. One of Harald Nielsen’s most sculptural and recognizable designs, these candlesticks beautifully combine the clean geometry of the Art Deco period with the flowing organic lines that reflect Georg Jensen’s earlier artistic heritage. Their elegant, sweeping floral form creates movement from every angle, making them as striking as decorative objects as they are functional candlesticks.
Each candlestick is raised on a stepped circular base from which stylized leaves and curling petals rise gracefully to support the candle socket. The sculptural elements are entirely handcrafted, showcasing the exceptional silversmithing for which Georg Jensen became internationally renowned. This is the desirable large size, offering impressive presence and making the design particularly sought after by collectors.
