Georg Jensen Art Deco Sterling Silver Bowl 823

A sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco bowl, design #823 by Sigvard Bernadotte, introduced in 1938. This elegant bowl features a clean, understated form raised on a subtle crimped foot. The interior is beautifully decorated with a hand-chased Japonisme-inspired motif, adding a refined decorative contrast to the minimalist exterior. A wonderful mid-sized piece, ideal for serving fruit or snacks, or simply displayed as a decorative object due to the striking ornamentation within the bowl.
