Georg Jensen 18kt Mid-Century Bangle

A substantial and exceptionally rare vintage mid-century Georg Jensen bangle designed by Anna Ammitzbøl. The silver version of this design is known as A1029; however, this example is an extraordinarily scarce 18-karat gold edition, weighing an impressive 80 grams.

The bangle features a breathtaking organic form, crafted as a hollow, sculptural tubular shape that transitions from a bold, thick profile to a more slender contour. This elegant tapering would have been highly challenging to produce, showcasing both technical mastery and refined design sensibility.

Sourced from a private estate, this remarkable piece has remained off the open market since its original purchase in the late 1970s to early 1980s from the Georg Jensen boutique in Copenhagen.
