A stunning Georg Jensen 18kt gold pendant/brooch, design #49 by Georg Jensen, featuring a large, cabochon set oval opal. The central stone is elegantly framed by small clusters of three pearls placed at the cardinal points—north, south, east, and west—evoking designs inspired by early Viking-era Scandinavian jewelry. The back of the piece features a gold bar lock system, allowing it to function as a brooch or to secure it in place when worn as a pendant.
