Georg Jensen 18kt Gold Locket

A rare and early Georg Jensen 18kt gold locket, designed by Georg Jensen. The oval hand-chased locket opens and closes securely. The interior of the locket features hammering marks, highlighting its handcrafted origins. The curved locket is adorned with a series of bead designs, a signature element throughout Jensen’s career. Despite being an antique, the hinged mechanism functions perfectly.

The wide chain, reminiscent of Jensen’s jewelry designs, consists of floral sections linked together. Each link is hollow, and the open holes on the backside confirm that these pieces were handmade, not cast.
