Extremely Rare Signed Georg Jensen Silver Candlesticks
A extremely rare pair of signed Georg Jensen candlesticks from an important provenace. In the last 10 years of his life, Georg Jensen produced his own pieces after leaving the Jensen company. Many of these pieces has Georg Jensen inscribed signature in them. All Georg Jensen works during this period were hand crafted as Jensen silver smithy was primitive. During this period 1925-1935 Georg Jensen worked with 830 silver as well as 925 silver. One can also see Jensen’s transitioning from his well know Art Nouveau style to Art Deco. Most of these designs were produced in limited numbers and most are unique works of art. These candlesticks are a collectors item and Museum worthy. Georg Jensen died in 1935.
